description: Considered by many to be one of the greatest 5wt ever built with the likes of the Payne 101. Not much I can say about this beauty. Built by Lyle Linden Lyle Dickerson in 1960 for Myron Crofoot. It's in "E" condition with everything straight and complete 100% original. This rod has been very well kept and has seen little action. There were only 121 8013's built by Dickerson and out of that 32 are now located. Who knows how many are in this condition without having short tips etc.... The cork on this rod has light soiling, perfect varnish with a few dent to the rod tube from storage. Very hard rod to come by in any condition. Nice piece of fly fishing history!
