description: Another wonderful Quad from Mr. Zimny. This rod was custom made with 3 tips one being a lighter 4wt tip and the 2 others standard 5wt tips. Fishes extremely well in both short and long casting situations as most of his rod do. Great med/fast dry fly action! John's Grips are made from the finest grade Flor grade cork with highly figured wood spacer and nickel silver sliding band and butt cap. Very nice touch with the gold acorn shaped ferrule plugs that I hear were patterned after the ones that fall from the trees grown in his yard. Just a wonderful rod with out the 2 year wait! The rod has been fish but very well taken care of in "E" condition. Great price for a 3pc travel rod with 3 tips.
