description: Beautiful R.D. Taylor Fly Rod. Hunt model! Magnificent oven tempered flamed rod with blood red silk wraps and red tipping at the hook keeper. Rods feature, red agate stripper guide, oxidized black nickel silver hardware, black guides and tip-tops, sliding band and butt cap with stamped logo on the cap. Flawless varnish, tapered cigar grip. Also very nice touch with the apple wood spacer. The is a very nice medium fast dry fly action with reserve power to throw tight loops in the wind. You can wait years to get an R.D. Taylor rod or pick up this one now! It's was built in 2003 new and never fished? This rod is one for the collectors as Bob is part of the great Hudson valley Catskill's rod makers!
