description: Hardly ever seen on the secondary market. Mr. Zimny is building some of the finish Quads made today. Model 98Q is a 7ft 4wt rod that cast just perfect with a WF4. A powerhouse little rod AT 2.5 oz. Fishes extremely well both in short and long. Great dry fly rod! John's Grips are made from the finest grade Flor grade cork with highly figured maple wood spacer and nickel silver sliding band and butt cap. Very nice touch with the gold acorn shaped ferrule plug that I hear were patterned after the ones that fall from the trees grown in his yard. Just a wonderful rod with out the 2 year wait!
