This Five-sided Penta and is a semi-parabolic hollow built construction, Extremely nice "One Off" rod with a very dark flamed finish and golden nodes, olive wraps, duel black sliding band, koa wood reel seat. black hardware, wood ferrule plug for the slightly staggered ferrule , flawless satin finish with Mario's own EC Powell style wells grip and autographed rod sock. This is one stunning rod to say the least!!!.Very light in the hand. Made in the manner reminiscent of the bridge construction with the percentage of the wood removed from the apex of every strip. The blank then looses about a third of its weight. This makes for a very light rod smooth medium fast dry fly rod. Just a beautiful rod with medium flamed cane, Most of Mario's rod can be a wait from 4 to 5 years in some cases. These are the rods I like to fish and now own 7 myself. When you get a rod from Mario the first time you cast it you'll understand why they are hardly ever seen on the secondary market! I am honored to receive rods from Mario to sell to the public.
