description: PRICE REDUCED!!! BEST BUY! Very nice rod from Bernard Ramanauskas of Eden Cane Bamboo Fly Rods in a 7'9" 3/4wt 3pc 2 tip rod. His quest for perfection has led Bernard to the very pinnacle of the bamboo rod makers with his Influences being masters such as H.S. Gillum and F.E. Thomas. His unique, time consuming nodeless construction techniques removes the weakest 18% of the bamboo and replace it with pure power fibers. His magic involves taking out the historic, unpredictable weakness, the node, and replacing it with predictable all-natural power. In Eden Cane rods, these weakling nodes are completely cut out. Long, large surface area scarf joints, hidden within the rod, are fused together with space-age adhesives. These sections are then arrayed in the same order that they naturally occurred within the bamboo culm power fibers. The stunning result is a dynamic taper that is incredibly smooth, light, and powerful. This rod has been lightly fished on a few trip and is in "NM" condition as you can see in the photo's. Light figured wood reel seat with one sliding band, straw colored cane with signature wrap spread out over the butt section. This rod now retails for $3,950 without a leather rod tube and the tube alone cost $375.00.
