description: Beautiful rod from Glenn when he was still heading up the R.L. Winston Rod Co. bamboo rod shop. This Winston Light Trout Rod is Serial number 3795 production in the 2000's. Medium brown toned cane, translucent brown wraps with maroon tipping at the hook keeper, signature wraps at the ferrules. Cigar grip with "Pride of Winston" up locking nickel silver reel seat. Custom made walnut wood spacer and red agate stripper guide all makes for a stunning rod! This rod is 100% new condition with plastic on the grip. As most of you already know you can no longer get these Brackett made Winston's rods anymore sad to says! I myself own this same style rod and this is without a doubt just wonderful dry fly rod for most situations. You don't see these in the 3pc configuration that often, easy carry on. Glenn and the Boys did a wonderful job on this rod from the good old days at Winston. Over the next few days I'll be selling a whole collection of these rods in 4's and 5's, also many new Winston limited reel sets.
