description: This rod has made it's way back to me after being gone for almost 2 years. Beautifully restored H.L. Leonard 4099 Pre-Fire Tournament at 4-1/2oz. Just a classic Leonard Tournament from the 1930's. The rod has been completely restored to New Condition by Daniel Nadal of Spain. The rod has only been fish a few times since the restoration. Wonderful rod with nickel silver ferrules. Original ferrule plugs are missing now, clear agate stripper guide, nickel silver sliding band and old style logo butt cap with butter nut reel seat. Beautiful black wraps tipped in red makes for a stunning look. Very nice med fast action. This is one of the nicest restorations I have seen just flawless! He really took his time in making sure everything was restored to perfection! The photo just can't tell the real story on this rod.
