Highly collectible and a wonderful med/fast dry fly rod for most of your fishing needs. Just a wonderful one owner rod. Year ago this is one of the only rods I would fish. It has a particularly smooth action perfect for dry fly fishing and placing the fly where you want it on the first cast. For me this era at Leonard remains the best production period. Just remember Maxwell, Aroner, Taylor, Carpenter, Kusse etc....all work for Leonard over the years. This rod has a little bit of everyone's talent all rolled up in one rod. If you don't own a rod from this era then you are missing out! This is the real deal and a very fine example of a Maxwell Leonard. A must for the collector!!!
