description: Vintage Hardy St. George Circa 1940's. Stamped T.A. inside the reel for one of the great reel makers from days gone bye. Hardy's master reel maker Thomas Appleby who work for Hardy from 1920 to 1947. This reel has a dark finish, straight line lettering, 3 screw drum latch, ribbed brass reel foot (Not Filed) and nickle silver line guide so you won't need to worry about a crack. Just a classic reel from the past. Very good condition with very honest ware.
