description: One of a kind! Jim Payne 5'4" Fly/Spin rod. The rod have 2 grip as you can see and the male ferrule goes directly in each grip when ferrule plugs are removed. This is a very unique piece for the collector. Additional information and follow-up history: At this time we are trying to confirm and located providence on these group of rods that ties them to Dwight D. Eisenhower the 34th U.S. president of the United States and the original owner. There is a photo of President Eisenhower with one of the rods but we have still not located these items yet! If an when located all original document would be send to the new owners! It is at this time not sure if we can locate said items and the reason items were not mentioned in the original add. I feel these rods can stand alone even without providence but would be an added plus. Stay Tunned!!!
